Barriers on the tube line3/9/2023 ![]() ![]() The song starts with a calming mood that later transitions into a hard guitar solo, as Wilbur likes making his music gradually louder. “Jubilee Line” can be seen as a list of criticisms against the pollution in London and its citizens not doing anything with it, specifically in the Jubilee Line from the London Underground transit system, which is infamous for being one of the most polluted tube lines in the city. They're used primarily for passenger safety. They only open when a train has stopped and close again before it leaves the station. I guess this last line was me putting blame on the city rather than those commuters or the poor people who committed suicide. Currently only one line, the Jubilee line, on the Tube has platform screen doors (PSDs) and platform edge doors (PEDs), which are those protective glass barriers between the train and the platform. The ticket slot heights for the wider access barriers are 92cm (insert ticket) and 102cm (remove ticket). The song takes a rather dark turn at the end, after experiencing people take their lives on the London underground only to receive disgruntled groans by commuters who will now be late for whatever it is they’re going to, one becomes quite jaded to the human condition in general.
